The mission of the Raise Me Creative project is to help parents nurture creativity in their children and teach them the all important life skills they need to be successful in the 21st century.
“All children start their school careers with sparkling imaginations, fertile minds, and a willingness to take risks with what they think.” — Sir Ken Robinson
Our education system is letting our children down.
All children are different, but our schools provide a ‘one-size fits all’ education. If a child doesn’t fit within the ‘norm’, they’re considered a problem.
The education system is designed to teach our children to think just like everyone else, instead of encouraging them to think differently.
We expect our children to learn, but we don’t teach them how to learn and in a way that best suits their personal learning style.
Many parents and teachers tell children to color ‘inside the lines’ instead of encouraging them to express their thoughts and creativity.
But creativity is not just about arts.
Creativity is about learning how to use your imagination and creating unique value in this world. It’s a crucial skill in the 21st century.
The Raise Me Creative project was founded by Omer and Tamara Khan – two parents on a mission to help their children and your children to develop critical life skills for the 21st century and realize their potential.
